Nutritional Consultation

Many patients we treat in our office have health concerns and issues that extend beyond the Chiropractic Adjustment. When we are deficient or imbalanced in our diet, our resistance can break down and our immunity weakens, leaving our bodies vulnerable to the wrath of unwanted, environmental stresses. Through Nutritional Response Testing and Designed Clinical Nutrition, there is hope of a healthier future!

Why is Nutrition Important?

Why is Nutrition Important?

The food you eat gives your body the raw materials it needs to survive. It gives your body fuel to turn into energy to move and function. Food also provides the building blocks that your body will use to replenish and rebuild every cell in your body.

In today’s world, much of the food available to us that many people eat are low quality and filled with toxins such as preservatives, plastics, and pesticides. To make matters worse, most people’s diets are completely imbalanced too. Many people eat far too much sugar, empty carbohydrates, bad fats (trans fats), etc. and are basing their diet on outdated, incorrect information on what is healthy to eat.

When the body is properly fed, it is much healthier and under much less stress. This often results in less general pain and discomfort, a clearer mind, better emotional health, better physical health, better sleep, and a greater ability to deal with the stress of everyday life in a healthy way, just to name a few of the benefits.

What is Nutrition Response Testing?

The actual procedure is simple and direct, with the body providing all the information and feedback needed. We use the extraordinary properties of the human cells and tissues to bring about healing and health changes....exactly as nature intended. The body has the full potential to fully repair itself when given the right nutrients.

Each NRT reflex represents a specific organ, tissue, or function, and indicates the effect that energy, or the lack of energy, is having on the body. By testing these reflexes, we have a system of monitoring your body at each visit that helps us identify what your needs and how well we are meeting those needs.
