Dr. Brockman grew up in Nebraska where she earned her RN from Clarkson College of Nursing in 1984 and her BSN in 1986. She spent her early career as a traveling nurse; working in Nebraska, Alaska, Washington and Texas as well as abroad in W. Germany. Although she enjoyed traveling and helping people, she decided from her experiences that conventional medicine wasn’t enough to achieve and maintain good quality of life, and she went back to school. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in 1994. She moved to Gooding, Idaho that same year and opened Brockman Family Chiropractic where she began educating, as well as treating patients of the Magic Valley. She expanded her holistic treatment options to include acupuncture, naturopathy and nutrition by becoming a certified acupuncturist in 2000 and earning her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Central States College of Health Sciences of Columbus, OH in 2007.
Dr. Brockman has shared her extensive knowledge and training over the years with the public through patient education and informative community lectures on such subjects as, Stress, Boosting Your Immune System, Dealing with Depression, Naturally Balancing Hormones and Detoxification. She strongly believes that the body can usually heal itself without the risk of the negative side effects of chemically created medications and/or surgery if it is taken care of properly.
